As a branded digital directory, RM2244 showcases over 1,500 businesses across 60 categories along one of Austin’s most trafficked commercial corridors: RM 2244, TX-1 (MOPAC), and TX-360. I was brought on to reimagine the identity and digital presence of RM2244 to better reflect its role as a hyperlocal business directory and cultural touchstone for West Austin.
My work included a full visual identity refresh; logo design, typography, and a new color palette drawing from the Texas Hill Country’s natural and built environment. I redesigned the website to improve usability and visual coherence, emphasizing clarity, local personality, and navigational ease across devices. Key improvements included a refined filtering system, branded category icons, and simplified business listings.
To extend the brand’s reach beyond the digital, I created print and digital collateral such as social templates, street signage mockups, and branded stickers designed for use by participating businesses.
The project helped reposition RM2244 from a simple directory to a neighborhood resource and promotional platform, inviting residents and visitors alike to discover local businesses and foster a deeper connection with Austin’s west side.
